1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 c. Stove Top Chicken flavor pre-seasoned stuffing mix
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. onion powder
Place Stove top in a zipper bag and roll over it with a rolling pin until crumbled.
Then Mix together all ingredients in a bowl with hands. Shape into balls and arrange in a circle in a 9 or 10 inch glass pie plate. Cover plate with wax paper.
Microwave on high 8 to 11 minutes, rotating plate and turning meatballs over once or twice during cooking. OR Saute in large skillet until browned and no longer pink.
Makes 12 large, 18 medium, or 24 small meatballs.
SAUCE:
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 T. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 clove garlic, minced
Add all the sauce ingredients to meatball mixture. Bring to boil. Simmer covered until sauce thickens, about 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over hot pasta or in large sub rolls!
