Sugar Cookies

Sugar Cookies

2 sticks Fleischmann's unsalted
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream the margarine and sugar. Add the egg and mix well. Mix the rest of the ingredients separately, then add to the creamed mixture. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes. note: they puff up pretty big so leave spaces between each cookie.

I wish you had added an email or sent a direct message. Doctor's are not a one stop spot for knowledge. Your doctor is likely very uneducated about dairy intolerance/allergy and heard the word "Cream" and thought it ok to misinform you that there is dairy in Cream of Tartar.

There is no dairy in Cream of Tartar. It's made from grapes.
