Cinnamon Dessert Pizza - Milk Free Recipes

DOUGH:

3/4 C. Water
1 T. Olive Oil
1 T. Sugar
1 1/2 t. Salt
2 1/4 C. Flour
1 t. Yeast

Bread mixer recipe: add ingredients to your mixer in order of manual. Set to "Pizza Dough". When cycle ends punch down and then spread on oiled pizza pan.

Hand Mixing recipe: Foam yeast and sugar in warm water for 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients slowly and mix by hand when dough becomes stiff. Turn onto floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.

Oil a bowl and place dough ball inside. Cover with moistened (not dripping wet) towel and put in a warm place for about an hour until doubled in size. Punch down and then spread on oiled pizza pan.

Or- use a pre-made dough from the store on your oiled pizza pan.


Streusel:

1 C. Flour
1/2 C. Brown sugar- packed
1 T. Cinnamon
6 T. Milk free margerine (not light)

Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Dice up CHILLED margarine and add to dry mix. Mix with hands until you can form a sort of "snow-ball" with mixture. Try to leave crumbles big and spread over pizza dough.

Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until dough bottom is golden.


Sugar Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1-2 tablespoons water.

Drizzle glaze on cooked pie when it is fresh out of the oven.
Let sit for 5 minutes, cut and serve warm.

Oh yum, that sounds like such a good idea! Perhaps some cinnamon apples would go nicely with the streusel too.

Yes, I think a layer of sliced apples under the streusel would be pretty yummy!

This pizza looks yummy! I'm actually planning to do something similar next week. Previously I've used pizza crust to make cinnamon sticks, and next week I'm planning to try cinnamon rolls. I hope it turns out just as good as your pizza!
